His Lordship has had a wander along the hearth tonight, looked at the fire and poked his nose up the chimney.

Satisfied that all is well he turned his attention to the pot pouri bowl.

Here you can see him just after he has pulled the first piece out for investigation.

We thought he would soon get bored and leave it so we didn't intervene

Not a chance. He emptied half the bowl before he got bored!

We still love him though.
