Tarn Hows bluebells

Today we did our annual duty marshalling for the Windermere marathon which our daughter helps to organise. It's conveniently exactly 26 miles around lake Windermere and the race starts and finishes at The Brathay Trust near Ambleside. It's always a great day out and as well as the 'normal' marathon, today was the final day of the 'Ten in Ten' where a number of runners complete 10 marathons around the lake over 10 days.

After we left we headed over to Tarn Hows. The bluebells are gorgeous and I hope this picture captures it.
