Looks Good To Me

Blue Shutters

It was a long journey from Bruges to Beziers. Our taxi arrived right on schedule at 4:45 am and whisked us to the station in plenty of time for the first of three trains it took us to to get to Bezier. We had to take a taxi from the Beziers station to the airport to pick up the rented car -- an expensive ride.

After so many visits here, the drive up from the coast through the hills to Olargues was very familiar and enjoyable. We parked the car outside the Mairie in Olargues and before we even got out of the car we saw some Scottish friends who live here.

After unpacking our things, we took a stroll around the village to pass the time until we could get a light meal at the hotel/restaurant. A couple of (small) glasses of rosé and a salad was all we needed before coming back to the apartment to blip and try to catch up on sleep.

P.S. Our apartment is on the upper level -- the ground floor is an art studio.
