Celebrations

We had a brilliant day in the west end celebrating Noah's birthday. We started with a long lie then a tasty breakfast of crepes at the birthday boy's request. After that we all got ready then headed up to Ashton Lane. We had lunch in Ketchup which is one of Noah's favourite restaurants, he forgot that it says on their menu "tell us if it's someone's birthday and we'll embarrass the hell out of them." He looked slightly confused when the lights went down and Stevie a Wonder blasted out singing Happy Birthday To Ya, but when he was presented with a massive ice cream sundae with a candle in it his face broke into the biggest grin and he loved it. Next we went for a wander taking in the usual vintage shops for Freya and the comic book store where Noah spent a little of his birthday money (he's saving the rest for a PS Vita). It was dry and bright in Glasgow compared to dreich Gourock so we also took a turn round the Botanics, Carlos' legs were pretty sore (he's been suffering from nerve pain) so we parked him in Oran Mor with a whisky while we wandered at leisure, just lovely!
