Marian Mawr hide at Inys-rir
Inys-hir is an RSPB nature reserve in Mid-Wales, with a number of hides used mainly for observing waders and water fowl (although a cool place too to eat your sandwiches in winter). This is the Marian Mawr hide (in Welsh Cuddfan Marian Mawr), shot from the Saltings Hide (Cuddfan Morfa Heli), across the water from it and a lot further than you might think (I was using a long lens). I seem to spend a fair amount of time in hides these days, as they really do 'work' insofar as the birds tend to carry on their business with no acknowledgment of my presence.
