Backblip

Sunday was the neighborhood's annual home tour, as you can see, the weather was not particularly kind; however, it did not seem to deter any visitors. I did not envy the owners of the 7 open homes as hundreds of people with wet shoes and umbrellas landed on their front porches ready to do the rounds. There were towels to soak up the worst of the moisture, then disposable booties to go over one's footwear, but still...

It was an interesting tour, a couple of the homes had been extensively renovated: An 1892 duplex had been transformed into a very modern single family home and a 1910 craftsman which had previously been divided into 10 illegal apartments had been turned back into a single family home.
