New beauty

As I wandered round the garden this evening I notice this little gem, it had been hidden under some sweet peas. Not sure what it is or where it's from, but I like it.

Sad news to start my week I heard today that one of our tenants had committed suicide over the weekend. I remember visiting him when I was his Housing Officer, turns out he was a Steward in the Merchant Navy as was my dad, we often had a chat about Salford docks, the merchant ships and his travels around the world. Our paths haven't crossed for a couple of years but it was still a shock to hear the news.
