Mummy on a Mission

Jump for Joy

Didn't stop from the moment I got up this morning until now.

Have been organising an Eco Day at school this Friday with a colleague, where we switch everything off and get outside to do lots of fun activities, so have been doing the rounds scrounging resources and flashing the baby blues to get things done. So far so good, but needed lots of interesting leaves for one of the tasks, where the children will be screen printing bunting. So after school headed of to a small copse armed with the two munchkins, a bag and set about collecting. I think we've got quite a variety.
Some of the older kids who live round here a few years ago made a bike trail in the wood so todays Blip is of my eldest, jumping off one of the jumps.

Also had a last minute crisis for a babysitter tonight, but thankfully my lovely neighbour stepped in at the last minute so I could go to camera club. It was competition night for digitally projected images. I submitted two mono and two colours. The colour images were received well, with fair critique. Note to self...attention to detail, but I was pleased, and am always keen to learn how to improve. One of my mono images was awarded commended, which was my Blip of 5th May, although another photographer who swept the board with the colour thought it was a photocopy! The cheek!

And to top it off on the way home, a car pulled up next to me at some traffic lights, and a young man who was quite easy on the eye, signalled for me to roll down my window. Mmmm .... But he only wanted to tell me I had no tail lights. So tomorrow's task will be how to fit some new ones to the van. Wish me luck.
