A close shave

Mr M and I were kicking our heels around the shops this afternoon between appointments and made an impulse decision to send mr M for a traditional Turkish shave. He has been growing a beard for the last few weeks and was starting to look rather tramp-like. The man in the barber shop was sporting some very fine face furniture so we reckoned that a Turkish shave couldn't be all bad.

I don't think Mr M has ever been so pampered! He had his beard trimmed with a cut throat razor, had his nasal hair trimmed, his ears defuzzed with a flaming taper, even his eyebrows were groomed. Then it was hot towels and a face massage. He was totally sold on this new Turkish shave experience and if I may say, he is now looking even more gorgeous than usual.
