Snaffled A Yaffle

Jazzy dog and I hear Woody's laughing call every morning when we go for our walk around the property but have only ever seen its undulating flight from a distance.

This morning we were under an oak tree and heard half a laugh. Woody was on a bank in the donkey field. I got a shot of it on the ground and then the horses appeared and spooked it.

This is the first shot I have got of a green woodpecker in flight so was pleased, even though it is not very good. Shame it wasn't closer. :( I like that its eye can just be seen.
