One Street - London Road Bridge

Today's bridge is in the heart of Stockton Heath. It was re-painted last year. On the far bank just before the bridge there would once have been boat yards and warehouses. While on this side there is still a boat chandlers. The white building with the tall chimneys on the other side of the bridge is the London Bridge Inn. There are old standstone steps down from the inn to the canal where passengers would have once boarded the packet.
