Sitting not Stepping

Today I have mostly been sitting on trains and in a very long meeting - not good for my step challenge.

I woke at 5am – presumably because I didn’t want to miss my 6am alarm!! I was on a very tight schedule to drop BB and catch the early train as had to meet a colleague and get another train to the meeting. It was such a lovely morning that I sent BB to school with no coat (expecting another day like yesterday) – I hadn’t reckoned on the haar coming in – which became quite apparent as my train headed towards the Forth Bridge.

Spotted a cruise liner anchored near the Bridge, and it was still there when I came back. I wonder if there was anyone on it? A strange place to spend the day, but good for train spotters I suppose.

It started raining just after I got in, so not much opportunity to blip. Here’s one of the last tulips in our garden – in the rain.

After my early start I need an early night and may be in bed before BB at this rate.
