Uneventful Day

Didn’t have such a rush this morning. Dropped BB with no coat again – and hoped that unlike yesterday, the day would remain bright. It did. Spent the morning catching up at work after my couple of days out of the office – so many e-mails. Finished early, rushed to get my train, only for it to be delayed – but at least it wasn’t cancelled as the announcement threatened when I first got on.

Picked BB up from school and did a few things on our way up the road – including the purchase of football cards.

I took him out on his bike after his tea so I could clock up a few more steps. We went along the cycle path to the park, where he bumped into a couple of school chums. I wished I had taken a book!

Here’s a calendula from our garden (it looks good large). We seem to have had some flowering almost all year!
