Garden Snail (Helix aspersa)

I know I have blipped a snail recently but this is on a whole different scale. The other was little bigger than my little finger nail in total, this one had a shell an inch in diameter.

Another day of good weather so more gardening was the order of the day. I/we are slowly trying to catch up with the jobs which haven't got done during my incapacity. Clickychick was planting up the remaining hanging baskets and I was preparing some old "Belfast" sinks which we are going to use of herbs and alpine (not both in the same sink obviously). Then out wandered this fella. Well I say fella but as snails are hermaphrodite I could just as easily say lass. Nothing more exciting had presented its self so that is what today's blip is.
