Duddon estuary

We didn't get back till late last night so this is a back-blip. We went down to Ulverston to meet Ali & Scott and Scott's parents Joan & Dave for a meal.

We arrived a little early so we headed off to Sandscale near Barrow. It's a really nice area of dunes overlooking the Duddon estuary. The last time we visited here it was blowing a gale but this time there wasn't a breath of wind and the sea was like a mill pond. You can see the view over the Duddon estuary looking north towards the Western Lake District fells

I left my tripod in the car so this was hand held unfortunately
