Sports Day

...well it would have been rude not to. After all it is a journal.
Yep that time of year again, and thankfully no rain, but lots of lovely sunshine today for Munckin 2's sports day. I had quite a few shots of him, my favourite was actually him doing the sack race, looking thoroughly wiped out. He is quite tall, because of his long skinny legs, but he was left with the shortest sack, which meant it was very hard to do and he ended up last, but he didn't give up, so I was very proud. However, I chose this one as my Blip as although he says he's not competitive, he is! Just look at him checking out the competition...while...doing his long jump. Bless, I can't think where he gets it from. Haha.
He managed two seconds and a third, which is great because he's not the fastest, but he'll try hard to make sure their red team gets points...and they won in the end.

Little Miss E on the other hand is VERY fast for someone with stumpy legs. Two and a half hours of trying to stop her from joining in! I wasn't successful on two occasions as she bolted twice on to the track, to her great delight!

Its been a very long and hot day, and a school governors meeting tonight, so I think its early to bed for me.
