Time To Remember

It's around this time that people remember the events of thirty-two years ago. It seems such a long time yet seems 'recent'.
We had already lost HMS Sheffield and tomorrow will is the anniversary of HMS Ardent on which I had friends.
I was fortunate to see the Islands fifteen years on and see the changes, a lot for the better, some for the worse.
Port Stanley, now known as Stanley progressed from a ramshackle collection of wooden and tin dwellings to Scandinavian type lodges.
Difficult to believe the islands are now a holiday destination!
