Les Miserables

Today was the start of my birthday celebrations, tomorrow being the big day itself!
It started with a train ride to Euston where we picked up the tube to the Marriott Hotel at Regent's Park to drop off the luggage. We then bought some nice sandwiches and a bottle of wine and walked up Primrose Hill for our picnic with a stunning panoramic view of the city in front of us, luckily in lovely warm sunshine.
On the evening it was off to the West End for the most magnificent performance of Les Mis which certainly didn't disappoint, followed up with a meal in Chinatown.What a fab day!!!
