Manchester Fire Brigade HQ

I had a meeting in Manchester University, arriving into the city's Piccadilly station. From there, it's a short walk to Sackville Street past a fabulous Victorian yellow-brick building that was formerly the city's fire brigade headquarters. I was told that the building's redevelopment (by a hotel company?) has been repeatedly delayed. It deserves better than being left derelict.
