Charing Cross

The Charing Cross fountain, leaning over at a jaunty angle; the pink-clad building over the motorway; Charing Cross Mansions with its amazing turret; The modern Clydesdale Bank building; the cross roads of Sauchiehall Street and the M8 Motorway.

So how does a friend direct us to a building close to where the photo is taken? "Its just beside the Burger Bar!" as if the Burger Bar is the only landmark at Charing Cross.
