Hart Beeps

Oscar and Bailee didn't go to nursery today as they wanted to have another mummy day!

We went to their favourite hang out of the moment, the Creche at Wafi Mall. They had a Hart Beeps class on (Pictured). It made me reminisce about being Silly with the duck shower caps with my friend Catherine in England when we used to the twins and her first son.... The trio enjoyed it, but Maple was absolutely captivated. She wouldn't take the shower cap off and was basically running the class!

Of course we had to have mandatory iced-lollies afterwards. Maple had carrot and orange, the twins had pineapple and strawberry and I had chocolate (Such a good example!)

Sebastian and Ethan came for a playdate in the afternoon. I didn't want to tell Bailee and Oscar too early so they literally kicked off their flip flops and did a crazy dance when I told them... they were so excited. It is always wonderful to see Sophie. She is such a wonderful mother and exudes beauty inside and out. She made me this beautiful butterfly cross-stitch card which will certainly be added to my 'box of special stuff' I have been collecting since I was about 12.

Stu and I went out for dinner tonight. There was a beautiful view looking over the Marina. If you ever come to Dubai, you have to try Manakish bread..... it is this delicious Lebanese bread topped with Zataar spices.... We even finished off with a massage.... what a wonderful day. Oh, and I bought a pretty head scarf.... haven't done a thing to pack or prepare.... can't quite do it. But this is a start and there is less than a week to go now.

Today I am missing my sister. Her sense of humour, her stubbornness and her energy.
