Heavenly cuppa
Day 4 Holiday IOW
Is this a little warning in the pub garden?
We had a cup of tea...
So many shots to choose from again but stuck to the theme of my holiday blip.
Started the day viewing lots of old buses in the museum next to the hotel.
Lovely chap wanted to tell us about them all very informative..
Brighstone was our next stop and walked down to the beach via chine.
Lovely lady with a dog told us all about the area all very informative.
Walked along the beach looking for fossils and up another chine to the IOW Pearl Workshop.
Two lovely ladies at their workstations told us all about pearls, very informative.
Drove to Black Gang Chine didn't stop...
Did an uphill walk through buttercup and cow fields to St Catherines old light House.
A local young couple chatted to us at the top telling us of good local sites and pubs...very informative.
Local pub located and we left the car near there whilst we walked to St Catherines newer Victorian Light House which we climbed with a wonderfully knowledgeable volunteer and guess what....he was very very informative.
Cuppa in pub gardens over looking the sea.
Last stop before heading home past delightful little thatched cottages was Godshill but it was closed...
They say you are never to old to learn something new and it was the most informative day...hot and sunny too.
