Last day of holiday on the IOW

With all the knowledge I have picked up over the years you would think I should know by now that one scoop of ice cream is enough...but...sitting in a deck chair on the beach at Osborne house with the sun shinning and the holiday finishing it seemed only right to indulge in an Osborne Knickerbocker Glory.
5 scoops of strawberry and peach ice-cream, honeycomb pieces, marshmallows and cream caused a bit of an overload luckily Mr H helped me a little.

We returned to Osborne house on our way home to wander around the grounds as it was so beautiful and we had not seen it all on our first day.
Very peaceful and I can understand why

We took a delightful walk..down through the woods, where the birds were singing, to the sea.
