The rain is good for the gardens.
I went to vote in the rain this morning.
Kagoul hood on, no umbrella.
Someone walked towards me with a big red umbrella, from the Cooper's catalogue, that claim to be windproof and never turn inside out.
I plan to buy a pink one.
The church garden looked so green and refreshed by the rain.
It takes a lot of flexible thinking not to be disappointed after the recent warm days, when you wake up to the sound of rain.
Maybe all this climate change is to help us be more adaptable.
I must admit to being excited by all weathers, especially sunshine and warmth but also the beauty and transformative power of snow.
I really missed seeing it this year as we had a mild snowless Winter here.
But it is important to acknowledge the ole wise adage, that rain is good for the garden.
I found so many lovely flowers this morning that it seemed only fair to include them in a collage with a canal scene in the centre.
It was a different narrowboat from yesterday's.
I hope you like it blipper friends, and enjoy a lovely Thursday.
