A canal walk in the sunshine.
After I had done my housework, and fed Arthur and Tiffany, I went for a blip walk along the Leeds Liverpool canal in the direction of Church Kirk.
The weather could not have been more perfect and the clouds looked beautiful reflected in the canal, as did the many shades of emerald green on the trees and wild plants along the tow path. I saw Canada Geese but no ducks or swans. There were two narrow boats on this stretch of water, and I watched one turning round, it looked quite a manoeuvre.
I was glad to see the cafe open and people having a brew and a chat.
Must find out if they stock Fairtrade tea and coffee.
The little pansy is from a Prospects project at the side of High Street bridge.
I popped into Slimming World as the new June magazine is out now.
I shall enjoy reading it later in Turrets Garden where it is peaceful and there is the sound of bird song. I will try some of the syn free recipes.
Enjoy Wednesday blipper friends and thank you for all the stars for yesterday's wild rose.
Much appreciated.
