Ducks Galore

I am still keeping a lookout for the swan family on my swimming trips - the DL Leisure Centre is in the vicinity on the Forth and Clyde Canal. Today, however, the ducks had taken up residence in the swans' patch and were having a little mid morning siesta around the structures of the lock at Netherton. I thought they made a nice composite from different angles, while showing the attractive modern housing complex on the north bank, and a glorious hawthorn bush in bloom. The swans' abandoned nest is at the extreme edge on the right of the photo.
