Of Little Consequence

Oops Ken did it again ...

Did a gardening job today in very strange weather, I almost filled up the cab with green waste ( I drive an old London black cab sometimes, perfect for tools and going to markets to sell my wares). I decided to take a trip to Kentish Town recycling centre to empty cab and see my old mate Kenny.

I've been gardening for over 15 years now, so I guess I've known Kenny for about the same length of time.
I nipped home first to pick up the boys ( dogs) Kenny loves those dogs, and off we went.

He looked very pleased to see me turning into the site, and gestured to me that I should drive directly into the bay where council vehicles go. Result : )
I got out and gave him a peck on the cheek, inhaling while I did , hoping he wouldn't get a whiff on the caramelised onion houmous I'd eaten shortly before.

He had a love in with the dogs while I emptied the gardening bags. Then the heavens opened, and the thunder and lightening started.

We ran to his portacabin , Colin, his colleague and other bloke I didn't know were there too.

I asked him how life was, he told me that it wasn't so good and that ' he'd done it again' . I immediately knew that he'd got himself involved with another troubled female AGAIN. Kenny has never been lucky in love, he never seems to learn either. He filled me in on the necessary details, showed me a few texts and asked me what I thought.

I gave him a piece of my mind and told him off a bit, I'm going back tomorrow with some old fencing and I'm sure I'll tell him off a bit more.

We said our goodbyes, I put the dogs in the back of the cab, it was then I saw that I'd left my window open and the drivers seat was soaked . I drove home with a wet arse and hoped the neighbours didn't notice the huge patch on my behind as I walked to my garden gate.

Also, I made a juice today that contained broccoli, fennel, spinach, kale, cucumber, lime and one green apple : s
