Preparing the Stage in George Square

For BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend Glasgow 2014. Katy Perry, One Direction, Kings of Leon, Lily Allen and a host of others are taking part. I was up on the rooftop right behind the stage on Monday.

There are three stages - on Glasgow Green, at the Riverside Museum and here in George Square. The strapline is "People Make Glasgow".

In town for my first ever appointment at the Genius Bar in the Apple Store. After just eight weeks in use, my iPad mini keeps cutting out and reverting to the apple icon. Some genius fiddled about with it, and it has been partly reset. We'll see what happens next. So far, so good this evening.
