Who built the Ark?

Well in this case it wasn't Noah, it was Chris and his fellow set builders!

It was built and painted in the Congregational chapel basement where Harden Players do most of their productions but our short play of Noah's Ark is being performed in the Anglican Church across the road, so tonight it had to be transported from one to the other across the main road.

Simple enough for Chris and R here you would think but you will have heard the stories relating to how many men does it take to .......? Well only two once they sorted themselves out.
They brought both pieces out separately and then decided for ease of carrying they needed to have the struts to the outside so they could carry both together. This seemed to cause some difficulty and great hilarity till they got them the right way around. Finally they got it across the road though by this time Chris could barely see where he was going as his glasses were misted up with the drizzle that was falling.

Final rehearsal tonight for our mini production where similar chaos and hilarity seemed to prevail. Oh well the show must go on and will tomorrow and Saturday!
