Lathallan House

This house is sited near Polmont. Built in 1826 it was clearly a beautiful house in it's day but it has not been lived in for some years. The house was reduced to it's present state by a "mysterious" fire in 2006. Interestingly a developer had just submitted plans to build a major development in the grounds. The development was to include the rebuliding of the house. More synical minds than mine may have thought that burning the house down would save the very considerable sum involved in restoring it.

Two buildings/structures in two days for me a change from my usual landscapes.
