Bracklinn Falls

We went through to Callander today and had a walk up to Bracklin Falls. We had never been there before. The light was dreadful, the path in was covered in ice and really dangerous and finally it started pouring with rain just as we arrived at the falls (the furthest away part of the walk of course).

The falls are well worth a visit and there are some great woodland walks all around, we plan to go back in spring or summer.

In mid December '10 they put a new bridge across the falls to replace one that had been destroyed in 04, it looks pretty good, for those who would like to see if it is worth a visit you can see the bridge and the whole falls here.
