Some poor bugger must've had a very chilly hop home last night.

I always get really confused about the days of the week over Christmas. Today, in my head, was Sunday which is why we ended up planning our whole day around getting some tasty grub HERE only to discover it was actually Monday and therefore closed. Curses! As we walked up the little brae from the water of Leith I turned to Bry and said 'I'm definitely having something with Frites' and Bry said 'Oh yeah me too and a cake afterwards'. We both stopped across the road agog as we realised our mistake.

We are idiots.

We decided on Pizza Express after that, which is not even in the same ballpark as the lovliness that is the Bistro, but they have 2 essential things - 1) a license for children under 5 and 2) crayons and paper to keep little hands busy. In the end it was fine - Arlo was an absolute angel for the entire time we were in there and our pizzas were pretty good too.

We got the Christmas tree down in record time too so the house is ready to resume normal life.

Whatever that may be.
