Yellow fireworks

Came home today feeling tired, and staggered up the garden to the house - and realised I'd not Blipped! Fortunately the big Azara uruguayensis on the gable end is in full flower, so I took a quick shot. I was given this shrub, in the family Flacourtiaceae, by my friend Jim Taggart under the name A. paraguayensis, but I think that was wrong - wrong country!

This is the one which blew off the wall earlier! Each flower cluster is about 1" across.

There are 10 species in South America, all with fragrant yellow flowers and a variety of leaf shapes.
