the snow is staying...for now

I'm amazed! The snow is staying and frozen in place, even on the leaves!

We went for a family sledge this morning in the grounds of the Astley Ainslie and on the way there only one road was totally free of ice, slush or snow so that the kids had to walk and the sledge to be carried. I've never experienced Edinburgh this covered in snow for so long and I've decided to enjoy it for as long as it lasts.

Back to normal tomorrow albeit not quite since our childminder has come down with the flu and L will have to come to work with me. I hope they won't mind.
