Fossil Hunting

Took a trip to the coast to fossil hunt. No ammonites but lots of shells and bivalves. We went with my brother in law, lucky for us he's a Geologist! The weather was awful; cold, bitter wind and rain which did eventually stop. We didn't let it stop us having fun on the beach, I was surprised when I realised we'd been there 2 hours!
It was really upsetting to see the news tonight...footage of the Art School in Glasgow up in flames. Incredibly sad to think of such an amazing building being devastated like that. Although on the late news I heard that the Fire Brigade think that much of the art has been saved, and the students' degree work too. Much relief also that no one was injured.
