Lost

Here's daughter no.1 in her natural habitat. ..lost in a book in a book shop. Not just any book shop though, today we visited Barter Books in Alnwick in Northumberland. It's a huge emporium of 2nd hand books. You can bring your old books in to swap for shop credit. We had a lovely lunch here too. It used to be an old railway station, a theme they've kept. I particularly liked the model railway running along on top of the bookshelves...great fun.

Following the book buying. We headed to Howick where we fossil hunted again. We got utterly soaked and freezing of course the next thing we did was travel to an ice cream parlour...logical! !
