A fleeting visitor!!

I only took 2 pictures today. One of the empty next box and a second was taken whilst on the phone to D.

D’s phone calls last at least an hour, so I get off my backside and wander around intermittently. I was in the kitchen and saw this magpie fly through the garden. I picked up my camera put down the phone and grabbed this shot as he flew through a second time.

The last 3 babies had left the box by 9am this morning. Interestingly the parents were still collecting food and sticking their heads in to the box looking for the babies. I hope they found them later!!
