Time for a sharp exit to the pub...
Yes, I know this picture wasn't taken in Ayr where I am now. I went out with mealworms, nuts and suet cakes in the pouring rain of Sheldon this morning before I set off. I ordered a different brand of suet cakes in the week. The box had ten cakes in and I have been doing taste tests with them. I mean, I have been trying them out on the birds not having them for my dinner!
Anyway, the insect ones are the favourite closely followed by wild cherry. The ones that are a strange greeny colour and look the healthiest known simply under the name of 'fruit' (not including cherries I presume) are the least popular. Do you think I'm taking this birdie cuisine too seriously?
I took a few shots once the initial massive blur of wings had died down. These three were clearly having a serious discussion about tonight's European football match which I have lost interest in already and switched over to watch my winning lottery numbers come up.
Go large....
Hmmmmm... I only got one number. Back to work on Tuesday I suppose. Mom says she hasn't won either. However, she has just announced that there was a big queue in the newsagent so she couldn't be bothered. If she had put her ticket on she would have had one number, just like me. Same number too - 44 which was the year of her birth. Oh well...
I have sore ears and will go to the West Kirk shortly while it isn't raining. It's nice to be back in Ayr again!
