Life in Sunny Dubai

Best LARGE!

Well. After seeing the old houses on Muttrah seafront last night and noticing that they had taken down decoration lights (which they had the last time I was here), I woke at 7:00am and said to G, "Let's go and take pictures of the seafront whilst the sun is in the right place and not too high." Despite how tired she was, she agreed! We dashed out and got there around 7:45 and started clicking away. Glad I took my own camera as G wanted to capture different things.

We then drove on the same mountain road as last night to view the Sultan's Palace area - nestled between the mountains and the sea, then back along the sea front to stop off to check their free-to-use bikes and back again to our B&B - drenched!

Had a leisurely morning/early afternoon, then went down to the Al Bustan Palace Hotel to High Tea. That was awesome. The place - despite being over 30 years old - still looks great. Hard to do it justice with a camera. Hopefully, G will have a picture of the tea when she blips. We were wonderfully entertained by two lovely musicians. The acoustics were incredible.

Actually went back to Jungle Restaurant - just for their soup!
