Pair of mandarin ducks

In Chinese symbolism they stand for wedded bliss, because mandarin ducks are thought to stay together for life. It's our anniversary today, and the picture on which the mandarin ducks stand is one of our wedding pictures. This is how we looked 29 years ago (I've cropped it to just the two of us, nowadays it does make me a bit sad to look at it, many of the people who are also in the picture aren't alive anymore, and we looked so carefree and rather glamorous then). We married exactly 7 1/2 years after becoming a couple, so we've been together for more than 36 years. Up to the 30th anniversary it is then :-)
