I Do Understand

My generation was brought up to respect my elders but over the last couple of months I have found myself forgetting that.
Queuing in the pouring rain, getting on the bus absolutely drenched for a two hour bus ride to a supermarket for a cup of coffee followed by the return journey.
Then you realise that for most of these pensioners it is the only company they have during their day, they are not paying to be kept warm and it gives their day purpose.
I shall have more tolerance in future.
