Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival

Expecting only a programme of lectures as well as the
opportunity of browsing the shelves of more book shops
in one Town than one could ever imagine, the sight of
a peripatetic poet with keyboard at the ready took me
rather by surprise. A couple had just gladly parted
with a fiver for a few lines with the poet's signature
appended. It seems wet weather does little to dampen
poetic inspiration when there is business to be done !
