Birthday Eve

Lying in bed this morning I could hear the rain, and all I could think about was that we were expecting family and friends for a pre-birthday barbeque for BB. Not a great start to the day.

Thankfully the rain went off around 10am-ish, though it was never far away. We seemed to miss all the torrential showers that were passing nearby. BB had a lovely day and we enjoyed catching up with friends – some of whom we hadn’t seen for a while.

Here’s the birthday boy ( to be) in his new birthday polo shirt – thanks to his Fairy Godmother and the Tickle Monster – tucking into a personalised cupcake made by the lovely Megan. Spot the difference from two days ago. He's had a birthday haircut!
