Clematis in the rain

It was supposed to rain all day today but it was only when we got in the car at 5pm after our walk that the heavens opened.

Not enough water and far too much wine last night meant I was stuck to the bed this morning. We went on one of my favourite walks, Ingleton Waterfalls Walk at lunchtime. I am so proud of all the children especially Heidi with the littlest legs for getting round in good spirits. The waterfalls, woodland and open fells combined to give us a great afternoon. We waved goodbye to Ang, Marcus and the boys early evening, had dinner and now Mark, Heidi, India, Dylan and Flynn are all snoring. Great day.
