Sabino canyon panorama - Tucson, AZ

After an early night we awoke well rested and headed downtown for brunch at hotel congress. An (apparently) very good Bloody Mary bar where you could add things like roasted garlic, avocado and dill pickle. I was sticking with the OJ. After we eventually got seated I went for the hot iron eggs baked in a skillet with gruyere cheese, ham and leeks with a side of potatoes and an English muffin. Very good. Helped the wife out with some of her chilli turkey chorizo. Also very tasty.

We then went for a hike in sabino canyon to the north east of Tucson. Clouds and a cooling breeze took the heat off the walk up the side of the canyon (blipped). Tons of cacti around and spectacular scenery. A paced road runs the length of the canyon with tram rides taking you the length. We didn't partake in the ride back and enjoyed our walk.

This evening we went out for a fancy dinner at acacia restaurant. Good food, bubbly and finished off with a gelato at the local ice creamery.
