Trees at Lewis Street Park, Monroe, WA
5/25/2015 Trees at Lewis Street Park, Monroe, WA
The weather shifted today to wet and cool. Slept in a bit this morning then yard/garden work for a few hours. After a bit of rest headed 30 miles east to Monroe, WA for a walk in the Lewis Street Park and Al Borlin Park which borders the Skykomish River.
It was raining throughout the walk and I do enjoy the Pentax K5IIs since it is sealed and works great on rainy days. I was using a new weather resistant lens and kept a micro cloth handy to wipe the camera/lens camera down on occasion while out and about. The river was moving pretty fast but it was hard to capture the action since it is so wide in the section bordering the park. I did post a couple of other images here.
Tomorrow is the Memorial Day Holiday and have the day off work. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, I enjoyed mine and look forward to the extra day off tomorrow!
