Mother and Father
Up early again to set of to St George. Our plan has changed so instead of going to Byron bay we are heading to Binnarwell where Rosie Nicholson used to live and Daddy worked for 6 months altogether. We drove through lots of little towns along the way. Drove through Toowoomba and then stopped for lunch in Goondiwindi. Had lunch at Victoria hotel. Father used to stay there when he was my age. Used to be $20 a week to stay there but it is now $55 a night! Went up some long dirt tracks to finally get to Binnarwell. The whole place looked so old and worn down. Daddy said that it was a lot different and well kept when he was there. We left there when the sun was setting which was really pretty. But at dusk all the Roos go crazy so we had to drive really slowly along the dust track so we didn't take any of them out. Finally arrived at Moolabah near St George. Met the Mcintyre's. Mary, Hamish, Campbell and Finn. They have a boy called Stirling that Mother met in Brisbane but I didn't. They have an incredible place. We had a good lasagne for supper. We stayed over in a little mining cabin away from the house. The stars were incredible! Probably the coldest I have been in the year and a bit I have been travelling.
