Snowness...

From what I've been hearing on the radio, Northumberland has been one of the worst hit places in the country for the snow. Right where we are staying.

It's brill. I always think a large part of a holiday is taking oneself out of the usual routine and so far we certainly have.

Woke up to at least 3 inch of snow covering everything basically confining us to our wee adopted corner of the world. Nothing for it but to adapt the holiday to the environment.

Stage one and two of my snowman magnus opus has been complete. Have you ever seen Calvin and Hobbes' Snowmen. I've always wanted to do something in the vein and the amount of snow we have at our disposal is the perfect opportunity. Hopefully if the mini-avalanches slipping off the roof don't cane him, he should be complete tomorrow.
