The 2 day Snowman...

Did you know that Alnwick (pronounced An-nick) is home to the second biggest second hand book shop? We were looking for something to do in the town and the tourist information people provided this gem to go and visit. It's housed in the old victorian Alnwick Railway station which is apparently so big and grandiose so the North Eastern Railway could impress any royal visitors to Alnwick Castle.

Don't know about royals, but it certainly impressed me with both it's size and it's extensive collection of very reasonably and very unreasonable priced books. Very interesting place.

Notes on the Picture
If you tuned in yesterday, you may have read of the commencement of my holiday snowman project. It probably took an accumulated time of around 4 hours over 2 days but it's finally finished.

My wee trawl for finishing materials (hair, facial features, etc) took me through a neighbouring dis-used farm which is absolutely blip-tastic. Expect at least one from there in the coming days.
