Icy grip

Was this the hand of Jack Frost outside our window today? It certainly feels like he has the UK in his icy grip...Things are getting serious here. The farm has had oil on order for over a month, but it hasn't been delivered because of a backlog and the tanker hasn't been able to get up the road for weeks. With no end to these icy and snowy conditions in sight, we've had to ration the central heating and fire as the supplies are dwindling. Not easy to ration things when you have a six week old baby in the house, but we've got an electric fire to warm her room and plenty of woolies. Now we need the electirc supply to hold as we've not got too much fuel for the generator!
